I am not a triathlon coach,
I don't play one on TV,
nor, did I stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
However, after 8 weeks of of nice solid Base building and 24 weeks until Vineman....
(I know it sounds like an eternity, but 8 weeks just went by in flash)
I'm smart enough to realize I need some help. I've been expounding that I can do this myself. Well my plan is perfectly capable of getting me to the finish line, I know that. But that's not good enough anymore.
My goal is finish line in 6:30 or less.
Time to quit letting this dog run around the backyard by herself. Time for some structure and discipline.
Time for a coach.
A coach who believes that in 5 months I can take a 4 plus hour Olympic distance finish, double that event's distance and add only an hour and a half to my 4 hour finish time. Not many coaches willing to take that bet.
I absolutely believe I can.
I absolutely believe I need professional help.
Perhaps more than one kind :)
I absolutely believe anyone who coaches me must believe.
Enter "Coach Believes".
I'm sure over the coming months I will call him by many other less flattering names, actually I really hope I do..
